A classic St. John stone, brick and shell archway welcomes you into Villa Nonna's gallery foyer designed to showcase grand views of the Great Room's living, dining and kitchen areas. A charming, old-world mahogany staircase descends to the airy and palatial Great Room below.
Along with spectacular Caribbean sky and ocean panoramas, the spacious open concept Great Room offers on one end a sink-into leather sectional sofa, desk, game table and a media center with a 55-inch Bravia TV. At the other end is the large gourmet kitchen, adjacent to the formal dining area with a dining table with room for ten. The kitchen is state-of-the-art, showcasing granite countertops embellished with graceful columns, stainless steel Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, a bar with wine/beverage fridge, (and custom mahogany cabinetry accented with woven rattan. The woven rattan also covers the coffered ceilings, giving the large Great Room a lovely tropical aura.
Off the kitchen, Walk through the French doors to a breezy ocean terrace, that is roofed and sheltered for shady alfresco dining or grill up some fresh seafood and island treats on the convenient gas grill. Relax in the chaise lounges inviting you to savor colorful island sunsets and amazing long-distance ocean and island views at the end of a perfect, laid-back day.
Just outside of the Great Room is Villa Nonna's other outdoor lounge area, a roofed open-air sitting area set with cushioned sofa and chairs, a wet bar, a pool table and a convenient powder room nearby. Adjacent is the built-in hot tub and the swimming pool with a brick deck and chaise lounges, secluded within tropical gardens behind a high stone wall - relaxing outdoor living perfected!
Villa Nonna features central air-conditioning throughout, along with a generous number of ceiling fans, should the cooling trade winds from the east ever falter.
On the entry level is a small children's room furnished with two bunk beds, a twin trundle bed and Dish Network TV and XBConnect with games. Above, on Villa Nonna's second level via a handsome mahogany staircase, are three more beautifully furnished air-conditioned bedroom suites, all featuring romantic four-poster beds. The easternmost suite offers a king bed, a sofa that pulls out to a queen sofa bed, an ensuite bath with granite counter, a tiled shower accessed through French doors and its own private patio. The middle suite has a queen bed, a twin daybed, an adjacent tiled bath and a step-out balcony outside through French doors. The third bedroom suite is in its own separate pavilion, accessed on the second level via a covered walkway; it features a king bed and a small twin pull-out for a small child, both a step-out balcony and a private patio, and an ensuite bath with a roofed alfresco shower.
A few more stairs bring you up to Villa Nonna's very private master suite, an alluring room with rich polished mahogany flooring, a queen four-poster bed, tiled indoor and outdoor showers, and a separate WC with bidet, and two patios with chairs and tables from which to enjoy the spectacular views for two.
